Syrco BASÈ, the brainchild of renowned chef Syrco Bakker, has opened its doors in Ubud, promising a gastronomic haven for food enthusiasts. Greeting guests at the entrance of Syrco BASÈ, the entrance of the venue is fully adorned in Bali’s rich cultural heritage, namely in the form of a banyan tree and encircled by a mosaic depicting a diamond-shaped rangrang motif. Inside the building all furnishings are crafted by local artisans, which allows the the space to radiate a welcoming ambiance for up to 50 diners. Essential to the immersive dining experience are the diverse servers’ stations, acting as bridges that connect guests with Chef Syrco’s fundamental values of Traceability, Nature, and Transparency.

For a more exclusive affair, KU culinary atelier, the chef’s counter section, offers an intimate setting for gastronomy exploration. With a palette of mint green and brown, the space symbolizes life’s abundance and accommodates 12 diners. Here, guests embark on a multi-course journey, delving into Chef Syrco’s culinary philosophy.
